Race Predictions

Posted on November 06, 2006

There will be no upsets, no democratic tide, no last minute Republican closings.

The Senate will with 51 Democrats with the dems holding onto seats in NJ and MD and the Elephants holding in Arizona and Tennessee. Webb will win Virginia, McCaskill Missouri, and Tester will win Montana.

O’Malley will win Maryland, Knowles will lose Alaska, and Hatch will hold on in Minnesota. Democrats will hold 29 governorships, Republicans 21.

The Democrats will take back the house, but that’s pretty much all I can say about that.

UPDATE::So CNN just called Montana for Tester. Therefore, it’s down to Webb and Hatch as to whether I go 452-0 in this round of election predictions. I think Webb will hold on, and Hatch will not. So I will probably go 451-1. And Democrats win the Senate and the House.
